It is the Lord

Preacher: Rev Graham Fryer

Verses: John 21:1-14

Beloved … over the last two weeks we have seen how Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdelene and then to the disciples … can you imagine the absolute rollercoaster of emotions the disciples and those close to Jesus would have been through … mentally … physically … emotionally … they must have been exhausted.  … which is why just spending some time on the water fishing was not necessarily the worst thing to be doing … but let us do a bit of a recap starting with Palm Sunday … Jesus’ triumphal entry … that saw Him welcomed as King … “the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!””
