FOCUS 2010

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR CHRIST

At the end of last year when session looked ahead to 2010 it was discerned that we should continue with our theme of “One for all and all for Christ” and also with our four focus areas of Worship, Fellowship, Youth and Mission. But it was felt that we needed to have the teaching of the Word as the core of all we do in this year. And to do this session determined that we should plan our teaching programme well in advance. This programme is in addition to the Bible study and fellowship groups that are running and are ongoing.

The second of four series of sermons that Alan will be presenting commenced on the 11th April and will run until 16th May. This series is on 2 Samuel.

11 April –  The King is dead! Long live the King! -  2 Samuel 1&2
18 April – Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown – 2 Samuel 5
25 April – Trials and Testings – 2 Samuel 6
 2 May – How the Mighty have fallen – 2 Samuel 11
 9 May – Lament for a Son – 2 Samuel 18
16 May  - Reflections on Life – 2 Samuel 23 & 24

The third series on the book of Revelation will run from 18th July to 22nd August, and the fourth on the Beatitudes from 10th October to 21st November.
